Commitment to improving access to care recognised

The dedication of community optometry and audiology to improving healthcare access for people experiencing homelessness has been recognised at a major retail awards event.

The work of Specsavers community practices across the country won the Community Engagement Programme of the Year award at the People in Retail Awards, held in London.

This accolade recognises outstanding initiatives and campaigns that deliver meaningful benefits beyond the workplace, with big high street names among the finalists.
