Specsavers is again sponsoring the Eye Health Award at the Visionary Annual Awards 2026, which recognises the sight loss organisations improving eye health and transforming lives in communities across the UK.

The award celebrates initiatives making a positive difference for blind and partially sighted people that combine effective services, fresh thinking and collaboration to respond to an identified eye health need, challenge or opportunity.

The shortlisted nominees for the 2026 Eye Health Award are 4Sight Vision Support, Beacon Vision and Nystagmus Network, each recognised for outstanding work to improve eye health and access to eye care.

By supporting the Eye Health Award, Specsavers is championing the expertise, commitment and partnership working found across the sight loss sector and reinforcing its commitment to accessible, high-quality community eye care.

Bringing the sight loss sector together

The Visionary Annual Awards form part of the Visionary Annual Conference taking place at Conference Aston in Birmingham on 23 and 24 September. Through panel discussions, workshops, networking and informal learning, the conference supports professional and personal development while creating space for sector-wide conversations.

The programme is designed to help sight loss organisations and professionals learn from one another, hear from expert speakers and develop ideas that can strengthen services for blind and partially sighted people. The Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday evening will showcase achievements across the sector and announce the winners.
